Our story
Vilkanundo started with a frustration — existing classifieds platforms were cluttered, full of spam, and charged sellers for basic features. We set out to build something cleaner.
We built Aadhaar verification into the core so buyers can immediately know who they're dealing with. We added in-app chat so phone numbers stay private until the seller is ready to share. And we kept it completely free.
Today, thousands of Indians use Vilkanundo every day to sell cars, mobiles, furniture, electronics, and more — safely, quickly, and without paying a single rupee.
A marketplace for everyone has to actually work for everyone. Vilkanundo speaks Malayalam, works with screen readers so blind and low-vision users can browse, post and chat independently, and includes built-in accessibility options — larger text, high contrast, and reduced motion — for anyone who needs them.
